You may think that CD duplication is just making copies of a master CD, but there are many other optional steps in the process. You can have a custom label attached to the top of the CD. Finishing services also include creating a custom CD jewel case, complete with a paper booklet or leaflet, and sealing the CDs in plastic, making them ready for distribution to retail outlets or directly to your customers.
Items Needed for CD Duplication
Companies will often use CD duplication services when they need several hundred copies of CDs all at once. Before CDs can be duplicated you will need to have a CD master from which all the other copies will be created. You will also need blank CDs and a CD duplicator to speed up the duplication process. Many companies do not have the budgets for such large scale operations, and rather, use outside firms to complete these projects, like Disc Masters.
